From March month, the Villar Mir Group will begin the construction of its new tower, Caleido, located in Paseo de la Castellana number 259, which has an area of 66,972 square meters. The concession of the land will be for 75 years and will contribute to the City of Madrid an annual fee of 4 million euros plus VAT, with a lack of four years
The project was designed by Fenwick Iribarren and Serrano-Suñer Architecture. The complex, will be 181 meters high and will have two distinct spaces: a tower of 161 meters and 36 floors; And a second building, 4 floors and 20 meters.
This project will have a university campus that will host up to 6,000 students. With this project, IE Business School, which joined the Villar Mir project in March 2016, will expand its educational space in Madrid by 54,000 square meters
The Quiron group will deploy the medical center, which will have a separate access and will have 11,000 square meters distributed on four floors. This private hospital will be specialized in “the integral care of the athlete’s health”, born with the aspiration to become “an international reference for innovation”.
In addition, there will be an underground commercial area with about 12,000 square meters, a park of 33,300 meters that will host concerts and other cultural activities and 2,000 parking spaces, some of them already built in the frustrated International Convention Center that was to be built in this solar
The total investment of the project will amount to about 300 million euros and in total will generate more than 5,500 jobs between the construction and exploitation phases. It’s posible that the construction work can be carried out by the OHL group
